Bruun & Hjejle’s attorneys are admitted to practice law by the Danish Ministry of Justice and are members of the Danish Bar and Law Society. Attorneys who are admitted to practice law in other EU member states are registered with the Danish Bar and Law Society under their foreign title.

All attorneys at Bruun & Hjejle are, whether admitted in Denmark or abroad, covered by our liability insurance and guarantee taken out with Codan Forsikring A/S. The liability insurance covers all legal practice by Bruun & Hjejle, regardless of where the legal practice takes place.

All attorneys at Bruun & Hjejle are subject to the Danish Bar and Law Society’s supervisory and disciplinary system and must comply with the rules on professional conduct for attorneys, see section 126 of the Danish Administration of Justice Act. Further, the code of conduct for attorneys applies. The rules particularly governing the practice of law are available at the Danish Bar and Law Society’s website www.advokatsamfundet.dk.
