Highlights (Panel content)
- Successfully defended a number of industrial fishermen against a high-profile criminal charge relating to fishing quotas leading to a landmark judgment published in UfR 2023.761 (2022 – with Olaf Koktvedgaard)
- Successfully defended an attorney met with a significant professional liability claim leading to several part-judgments by the Eastern High Court, including TFA 2021.80 (2019-2022)
- Acted for a group of Danish individuals and companies met with an economically crucial claim from HMRC. The claim was subject to English law and was heard by the Eastern High Court as first instance (2021 – settled during oral hearing)
- Successfully defended Danske Bank against a significant avoidance claim brought by a bankruptcy estate before the Copenhagen Municipal Court and in appeal before the Eastern High Court (2018-2021)
- Assisted with wide-ranging investigations into Danske Bank’s former Estonian branch jointly led by Bruun & Hjejle (lead partner Ole Spiermann) and Sullivan & Cromwell (2018-2021)
- Acted for the bankruptcy estate of BIOS Ambulance Services Danmark A/S in a significant dispute with the Region of Southern Denmark (2019 – settled after oral hearing)
