Danish pension funds to acquire minority interest in Nykredit08.11.2017
A consortium of Danish pension funds, including PFA, PensionDanmark, PKA and AP Pension, have committed to acquire 16.9% of the shares in Nykredit, Denmark’s fourth largest financial institution.
The transaction values Nykredit at approximately DKK 69 billion and represents the largest acquisition ever of unlisted shares by institutional investors in Denmark.
The transaction is subject to certain public approvals as well as approval by the board of representatives of Forenet Kredit, which will retain approximately 80% of Nykredit.
