Bruun & Hjejle takes over new domicile at Svanemølleholm
A modern building at Svanemølleholm in Copenhagen's Nordhavn will serve as Bruun & Hjejle's new domicile from the beginning of 2027.
Bruun & Hjejle and Lundgrens have signed an agreement under which Bruun & Hjejle will take over the domicile that Industriens Pension and the turnkey contractor Nordstern will shortly begin building at Svanemølleholm.
With the new domicile, Bruun & Hjejle strengthens its position as one of Denmark's leading law firms and at the same time gains a modern base in one of Copenhagen's new and attractive districts.

We are excited to have the opportunity to develop a modern domicile that represents modern construction and architecture and meets the highest standards of sustainability. With its attractive location at Svanemølleholm, the new domicile will be a cornerstone in our busiiess ambitions for growth and in creating the best possible environment for our employees and clients. In recent years, we have strengthened our competences in a number of strategically important busi-ness areas. We are now looking forward to starting the work of customising and furnishing the domicile so that it is tai-lored to our needs and our ambitions.
For Lundgrens, the agreement marks a necessary but also important step in Lundgrens' strategic initiatives.
‘We have invested a lot of resources in the preparations to create a new office that is state of the art both inside and out, so we are pleased that we have now reached a solution to hand over the project to Bruun & Hjejle, who we are confident will appreciate and continue the vision behind the project to create an ultra-modern law office,' says Peter Mollerup, partner at Lundgrens.
Bruun & Hjejle's new domicile is designed by Henning Larsen Architects and spans 14,000 square metres over six floors. The building, which is being constructed by Nordstern and owned by Industriens Pension, will be centrally located at Svanemølleholm, close to Orientkaj Metro Station, and is expected to be completed in early 2027.
